In David Williams v. Reckitt Benckiser, LLC, the Eleventh Circuit vacated an $8 million class action settlement involving the brain supplement "Neuriva." The case was remanded after Judge Marcus concluded that the named plaintiffs lacked standing to seek injunctive relief, as none intended to repurchase Neuriva, thus failing to show an imminent risk of future harm. Although the monetary settlement remained uncontested, objections to injunctive relief and the structure of attorney’s fees prompted the vacated settlement.
